Axis Bank’s Trade and Forex Services also provide remittances for its existing as well as potential customers. As part of its Remittances service, Axis Bank offers Inward Remittances, Outward Remittances and Online Inward Remittances. These remittance services allow the customer to make transactions in 14 different currencies including USD, GBP and EUR. No services charges are applied on online inward remittances. The customer can also enjoy tracking of transaction status and submission of documents online. The customer can also split the transaction amount and give credit instructions conveniently, using these services.
No separate on-boarding is required for this facility. Just log into Axis Bank Corporate Internet Banking website with checker credentials, click on Forex tab and select Inward Remittance.

No, there is no fee to avail this facility
Yes, you can book rates from any channel including branch & utilize the rate booked to convert your Inward Remittance transactions through online channel. You will need to enter your TR-Reference number under Pre-Booked FX Rate option to utilize the rate booked from other channels.
The customers will be sent an email containing all the details pertaining to their received Inward Remittance such as Date, ARC Reference Number, Amount, SWIFT details etc. Customers are requested to update their registered E-mail address and contact details with the Bank.
Depending on the selection of Purpose Code, the system will display the list of documents required to process the transaction
Currently, only non-trade related purpose codes are available under this channel. For all other purpose codes, you can visit your nearest branch or contact your Relationship Manager.
No, you cannot book a forward contract using this channel. However, you can utilize your existing forward contracts against the inward remittance received using this channel. Just select ‘Convert using FWC’ option to see the list of your forward contracts available.
Note down the transaction reference number displayed on the summary page once the transaction is submitted and quote the same to the branch. The transaction reference number will also be available under Booked Rate tab (if a rate is booked against it). The status can be tracked from Processed/Under Process Transaction tab. If you have further queries, please contact your Relationship Manager.
You can book Fx Rate during market hours (09:00 – 16:30 Hours) and submit the transaction within working hours of the bank. Transactions submitted post that may be processed in the following working day
