Mr. Deepak Maheshwari is the Group Executive and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank since January, 2019 and is responsible for credit underwriting, policy and monitoring. He joined Axis Bank after spending two decades in HDFC Bank where he was Group
Head of the Wholesale Credit function, responsible for asset quality, sanctions, policy and monitoring of the entire Wholesale credit portfolio of that Bank. Prior to that he had spent another two decades in SBI in various Credit and Management
functions, with his last major posting being as Vice President (Credit) SBI (Canada), Toronto.
Mr. Maheshwari is a B.Com (University Topper) from the University of Rajasthan and CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers.
