BMTC Smart Card Programme Offers

Use your smart card even outside BMTC buses - to shop or dine at RuPay enabled merchant outlets across the country.

Avail your card Instantly at BMTC issuance counters by simply providing your name, address and mobile number.

The Axis BMTC Smart Card is a contactless card which lets you simply tap your smart card inside BMTC buses and pay for your ticket.

You can top-up or reload the Axis Bank BMTC Smart Card with any amount up to Rs. 3,000 (up to Rs. 7,500 on full KYC) through cash or debit card or credit card through any of the following channels:

• BMTC issuance counters:
• Hand over cash to the operator.
• Dip the card in the electronic ticketing machine. You will receive an SMS alert on your registered mobile number on successful loading.
• Online banking: Click here to login and reload your card through any debit or credit card.
• Axis Bank ATM: Existing Axis Bank account holders can reload their Card using their active Axis Bank debit/credit card.

SMS banking: Existing Axis Bank account holders can reload their Card through their primary account in Axis Bank. Kindly ensure the registered mobile number for your Axis Bank primary account and your Axis Bank BMTC Smart Card are the same. SMS TTOPUP

Issue and renew your BMTC pass on your smart card for hassle-free travel (feature enabled shortly). The amount of your pass will be deducted from your card balance and the pass will be loaded onto your card, the remaining balance will be available to you for your other transactions.

• W.e.f. 1st July'17, Interest earned on Savings bank account will be credited on the last business day of each quarter of the financial year.
• W.e.f 8th Aug'17, *earn up to 4% p.a. interest on savings account balance of Rs. 50 lacs and above. Earn 3.5% p.a. interest on savings account balance less than Rs.50 lac.
